1. Scope and Seller
These Terms & Conditions apply to orders placed by consumers through the KNOT STORE online shop.

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession.
We currently deliver within Germany and to European countries available for selection during checkout.
2. Formation of the Contract
The presentation of products in our online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer to enter into a purchase contract.
Customers may select products and add them to their shopping cart. Before submitting an order, customers can review and correct their order information.
By clicking the button that places an order with an obligation to pay, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the products contained in the order.
After placing an order, the customer will receive an order confirmation by email. The conclusion of the contract depends on the order and acceptance process displayed during checkout and in the order confirmation.
The languages available for concluding the contract are displayed in the online shop.
3. Prices and Payment
The prices displayed in the online shop at the time the order is placed apply.
Where required by law, displayed prices include applicable VAT.
Shipping costs may apply in addition to the product price. Any applicable shipping costs will be displayed before the customer completes the order.
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
4. Shipping and Delivery
We currently ship within Germany and to European countries available for selection during checkout.
Orders are generally shipped using DHL or Hermes. Depending on the destination and availability, another suitable shipping provider may be used.
Applicable shipping costs are displayed during checkout before the order is completed.
Estimated delivery times are displayed in our online shop or during the ordering process.
If an ordered product is unexpectedly unavailable, we will inform the customer as soon as possible.
For deliveries to European countries outside the European Union, customs duties, import taxes or other charges may apply. Where these charges are not collected during checkout, they may be payable by the recipient to the relevant authorities or service providers.
5. Retention of Title
Goods remain the property of KNOT STORE until the purchase price has been paid in full.
6. Statutory Rights for Defective Goods
Statutory consumer rights relating to defective goods apply.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes mandatory consumer rights.
7. Intellectual Property
Content available through the KNOT STORE online shop, including text, photographs, graphics, illustrations, designs, prints and logos, may be protected by copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.
Use, reproduction, modification or distribution beyond what is permitted by law requires the prior permission of the relevant rights holder.
8. Governing Law
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
For consumers, this choice of law does not deprive them of mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in the country of their habitual residence.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Withdrawal Period
You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.
For goods, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receives the goods.
If multiple goods from one order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period generally begins when the last item is received.
How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement.

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but its use is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send your withdrawal notice before the 14-day withdrawal period expires.
Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse payments received from you, including the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option.
If you selected a more expensive delivery method, such as express delivery, we are not required to reimburse the additional cost above our least expensive standard delivery option.
Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
We will generally use the same payment method used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur additional fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have provided evidence that you have returned them, whichever occurs first.
Returning the Goods
You must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your withdrawal.

The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day return period expires.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
